from an empty folder to a live token on Robinhood Chain, in one script. ballast-sdk is on npm. here's the full walkthrough. install npm install viem ballast-sdk@preview viem is the only peer dependency. the SDK ships with Robinhood Chain (4663) built in, plus every Ballast contract address, so there's nothing to look up. connect one viem public client, then createBallast({ publicClient }). that's your Ballast client. read getToken() gives you a token's identity, pools, hook generation, treasury backing, fee router and current split in one call. getBuybackStats() returns total $BALLAST burned, buyback runs, and what's spent and waiting in WETH and NVDA. run it on $BALLAST right now and you get 98 runs back. quote quoteBuy() and quoteSell() price a trade against the WETH pool before you send it, with amountOut, minOut and a gas estimate. slippage is built in. launch ballast.launch() makes the exact same call the Create page does. name, ticker, metadata, quote assets (WETH plus up to two stock tokens), a notice period, and a 5-bucket fee split: creator, treasury, buyback, parent burn, rewards. then graduate() seeds the pool and locks the LP permanently. the token trades through the Ballast hook from the first swap. every write simulates before it sends. you review and sign with your own wallet. the SDK never holds keys. watch parseBallastLogs() decodes everything Ballast does onchain into typed events: launches, swaps, buybacks, burns to the dead address, split changes, parent burns, treasury deposits. change splits safely scheduleSplit() follows the onchain rule: lowering the creator share is instant, anything else waits 7 days. the SDK tells you which one before you send.
