With land values changing as the game progresses, players have to think about their decisions and how they manage their virtual properties. That's what makes the economic side of the game worth exploring. @agentdojo is taking a different route by combining AI with competitive gaming. Its fighters have individual personalities, memories and fighting styles. Players can train them, shape their strategies and put them through turn-based battles. I find the idea of AI agents developing their own identity through training particularly exciting. Both projects show how much room there is to experiment with gaming and emerging technology.
